If you offer a free service, does that mean it is bad?

I have this great website where anyone at present can submit classifieds for free, but it seems that many people have a kind of fear for things that are offered free of charge. How can you take away the visitors doubt if you are not as big as for example e-bay. What can be done to gain trust without spending the same amounts on advertising like e-bay does???

I know google adsense etc., but it has proven to be a waiste of money as most visitors are searching for something. To be successfull with adsense you need the advertisers first. The visitor expect to see adverts on your sites, otherwise he/she will not return. I get lot’s of compliments from visitors for the site, and strangely enough I have quite some hits according to the site stats. That’s why I don’t really understand why anyone just give it a try. Is it really only about traffic???

Maybe someone can provide me usefull and serious information.

Our relationship ended very suddenly. It was a long distance realtionship and trust was our only issue. He was of a best friend than anything and I just want that type of relationship back. I’ve seen him on a widespread website called Facebook (familiar with it). Well anyways he’s on there with some chick either an x or present girl. So I dont want him back, I just want my friend back! OH AND WERE BOTH COLLEGE HOOPERS.

How do you build trust back in a relationship after one of you cheats?

I recently found out that my partner (we are a m-f couple) cheated on me. We have been dating just over 1 year. The cheating started 7-8 months ago. I only had suspicion before, but found evidence that confirmed my “other half” had met someone on Craigslist, took intimate pictures, & then had an email message with them on it. When confronted, I did not give “details”, but instead stated my other had to “come clean, be 100% truthful and honest” because I would not SAY what I had discovered. I said that if they did not become truthful about the thing I had found, we would be over. After some “back and forth”, it was revealed they had cheated with me with 9 people of the opposite sex & 2 of the same sex. They swear that it was “just a mistake” & will not ever do it again. Through discussion, it was revealed they had been faithful in only a few relationships. I love them & we had been planning marriage & babies throughout the entire cheating time. I can forgive it once. But how to trust?
