I live in San Francisco, and the SF section of Craigslist is pretty big, but I’m scared of selling it for less then its worth? At least with Ebay it goes to the highest bidder?
Its going to be priced around $28K. I sold my truck on CL for around $12K, but the higher price is also a concern to me.

Basically, this happened, some intuition told me that my girlfriend (well, my ex now) was doing something dishonest. I found out that she posted an ad on craigslist in the women seeking men section. I pretended I was somebody else and emailed her just to make sure it was her. She sent me her pic and it was! Now I confronted her about it, and of course it didn’t go well. We were having problems beforehand and its kind of rocky, she claimed she only did this to seek advice from men. Her reasoning for posting in that section was so men can actually reply. She said she was totally not cheating even though I said it was. Then she called me shady and deceitful for pretending to be someone else and tricking her!! I’m just really hurt and mad right now. Who is at fault here? Is she really cheating? Even though its not physical, I’m sure there is such a thing as cheating emotionally.

I posted an ad with craigslist.org for Norfolk, VA and it showed up in the classified section. But then I checked the messages posted at Craigslist Hampton Roads with Yahoo and it was not listed. What’s the difference and can you post to both? If you only post to one, which is the best to use? Thanks, Cindy
I thought they were both free posting places if you’re just trying to sell a set of lamps. I thought it said there was a fee if you were posting for a job.

I need an apartment. I can’t share a room because I have two small children, and I am disabled and can’t work full time. I am currently in college and the apartment complex I live in is so awful and dirty. Section 8 is closed so I can not get on that, and I will never have three times the rent and don’t have a co-signer, but I can afford to pay $600 a month. Does anyone know of any places online, other than Craigslist (been there) that I can search for housing in San Jose that is affordable? I am getting desperate to move someplace clean and safe while I finish my BA.
