I live in San Francisco, and the SF section of Craigslist is pretty big, but I’m scared of selling it for less then its worth? At least with Ebay it goes to the highest bidder?
Its going to be priced around $28K. I sold my truck on CL for around $12K, but the higher price is also a concern to me.

craigslist got a panal of flaggers who are not monitored….who just flag their competitiors…the 14 year old girl from san francisco was able to sell sex for awhile and those flaggers did not flag her ad
I have tried my job’s local network and craigslist to no success. I don’t want to pay to put an ad in the paper, especially with such great internet resources that I have yet to uncover.
We have been at our San Francisco 3br apartment since July. Our roommate had to move out, so we found a new roommate from craigslist with great credit history and everything. After he signed all the paperwork our landlord sent us a letter saying he is raising the rent by $100 a month because the lease has changed with the new roommate being on there. I’ve never heard of a landlord doing this. I feel like he may be doing this illegally because we signed a lease for a specific amount, and it doesn’t seem like it should matter who we fill the room with as long as his credit history is fine and he can pay rent. Please let me know if you have knowledge of CA rental laws.
