Why does it seem like nobody likes me?

I’ve been told i have an awesome personality and stuff but i dont have very many friends. only like 3. Im 18, work full time, and currently taking one class in college at night cuz i gotta work (im gonna take more classes next semster but all at night). im not ugly and have good clothing style and such. im nice to everyone and i love making people happy. (but i am annoyingly Mature for my age–like a 30yr old stuck in an 18 yr old body.) but how come it seems like people still dont like me? like when i was in high school, i joined clubs and played soccer and even then it didnt seem like anyone wanted to be my friend. they barely spoke to me. i was always by myself and last to get a partner. even now, i dont have much a social life at all. i see all my college classmates having a blast and for godsake, have comments on their facebook/myspace from more than 5 different people! i will talk to people but then they treat me like im some sort of loser or something. whats the deal?
And with the friends I have, there’s only one girl (we’ve been friends since we were 12). Guys are cool and all but they have that deal where “they wanna be more” or i cant meet a potential date because i’m with my guy friends. I wanna be friends with GIRLS! how can i do that? girls are the ones that seem to be so mean or hostile towards me and im not sure why.

soooo i met this really awesome guy the other day at college….?

i met him at dinner w/ three of my other friends. that night i found him on facebook and said that i thought he was really cool and funny. a few minutes later he left me a coment saying,”We should hang out again sometime… you seem really fun!” soooo, i left him a comment and gave him my screename so that we could hang out sometime. but it’s been about 4 days and he hasn’t IMed me yet. i know his screename because it’s on his facebook tho. do you think i should Instant message him, or wait for him to message me? i really like him a lot. Do you think he likes me at all?? thanks

What the heck happened?

I met this girl at a party and we had a couple of nice dates. She seemed really interested in starting a relationship (i.e. talking about future dates and what not). Then, we had a pretty hot night before she went back home. When she got back, we had one date and it was like we started all over again. She was very unresponsive. So, I decide to not call her for a while. I call her about a week later and she hits me on Facebook about how she is sorry that she “confused me” and how ” I got the wrong impression”. I wasn’t hurt, but suprised. I mean, she came onto me. Girls just continue to blow my mind.

Is he still attracted to me?

This is a weird story, but last year I lived in the dorms. I was studying in the study room once when a guy who lived on that floor started looking at me through the window. Then, he walked on. Then another night he came in, while semi-inebriated, and told me he thought I was beautiful. Then he asked me out to dinner, but he told me he had a girlfriend and was not a cheater. Then he asked me about my ethnicity–I’m mixed–and told me not to be self-conscious when I smile. Then he gave me a box of cookies he had won in a drinking contest at a fraternity. He ended the convo by saying that he’d come to my dorm room to take me out to eat the next evening. The next evening I had gone to a concert, and I came back and met him once by chance. He told me he had tried to find me on facebook but couldn’t. I told him I had shortened my surname so he couldn’t find me and then I added him on facebook.
The summer passes and now we are in a new semester.

He and I are taking the same class, yet he always sits with his athlete friends. (He’s an athlete.) Today we happened to make eye contact and he pretended to not have seen me before then, even though he sat only a seat ahead of me and was going to sit next to me. (His friend was reserving the seats though. )

We had very awkward conversation….

So question is, after all this time, and the fact that we’re not really friends, is he still attracted to me?
Basically during the convo he was standing next to his athlete buddies and then said “Oh hey! How do you like the class so far?” I replied “it’s good” and then looked away.

His athlete friends generally make me uncomfortable…

Am I scaring him?

I met a guy a couple weeks ago at a party at my university. We ended up making out and I spent the night at his place WITHOUT having sex. (We’re both virgins.) Anyway, he called me up a couple days later and we hung out again.

Then I flew to my parents’ house in another state. I messaged him on facebook, ahd he replied, and then he AIMed me. We ended up talking for 5 or 6 hours. The next day I IMed him, and we ended up talking for 4 hours.

1) Does he like me, or is he just “putting” up with me? (You know how some people don’t tell the truth to people, yet just “stand them.”)
2) Am I scaring him? I tend to be a very sarcastic, cynical person. Yet I usually try to lay it off people I just meet in case I scare them lol. Would you be scared if a girl was cynically facetious?
3) He had wanted me to call him when I got back to college before I left over a week ago. Should I still do that considering we spoke through AIM?

Does he actually like me?

I met a guy at a party 2 nights ago and I spent the night at his place, without having sex. We just talked for a few hours both before we slept and after we got up; we also made out, felt each other, held each other while sleeping, and then in the morning he asked for my number before I left. Yesterday he messaged me on facebook , requested to befriend me on it, and asked for my number again because we had problems adding my number into his phone. I guess when I inputted my number into his phone, it didn’t save. Does this mean that he will actually call to hang out again? Or is he just going to ask for my number and never talk to me again?
Edit: About the wanting sex bit, we’re both virgins who didn’t want to take it to the next stage.
