What is the most effective way to put up my guinea pigs for adoption in the San Francisco bay area?

I have tried my job’s local network and craigslist to no success. I don’t want to pay to put an ad in the paper, especially with such great internet resources that I have yet to uncover.

I need to get a profile on face book.com. is there anyone who knows how I can get a network.?

I need to get a profile on facebook.com but I think someone has to invite me. is there anyone willing to invite, otherwise, how would I go about getting a profile.

Bizarre problem with Network Connections dialogue box popping when surfing with Firefox?

I’m really hoping someone can help me with this.

Several days ago my computer – a P4 Intel chip PC running Windows XP Service Pack 2 – crashed for no obvious reason. I couldn’t CTRL-ALT-DEL so I switched it off centrally and restarted.

Ever since then I’m having a very strange problem. My internet connection IS working, but whenever I visit any pages that are served by adclick or google adsense then I get the Network Connections dialogue box pop up (all other stuff on the page except for the advert bit load normally). If I click cancel I can continue browsing without any problems except that the ads are not visible.

However, as the network connections dialogue box pops up EVERY time I click on Yahoo 360, or Cnet or almost anywhere on the web I get this. There are error messages in the ad windows saying that the server at adclick.net could not be found).

I’m running Firefox 1.5.0.7. Can anyone please help?
Note:

I have tried all the basic stuff I can think of. The problem occurs in Firefox 1.5.0.7.

I have tried accessing the same sites from IE6 and IE7 with no problem.

I have also tried disabling my firewall (no effect).

I’ve rescanned my system for viruses and malware (none found with Zone Alarm).

I’ve disabled ALL my firefox extensions (no effect).

I’ve tried switching my cable modem off and on both on the modem and at the mains switch (though it’s clearly not a cable modem problem).

I’ve tried searching around on Google and have found no useful information.

I’m completely out of ideas…

Do you think this is risky?

I used to talk to people I didn’t know personally on the internet a few years ago when I was 12 or 13 and I want to get a facebook but I don’t want to if there is a big risk that they could find me. I have it set pretty private. Only people in network can see my profile. No one can search for me. No picture, though they didn’t see a picture 5 years ago anyway. But I don’t know if you would think it was at all risky. I just wish there was a way so you wouldn’t show up in people’s friends lists, then it would be pretty safe.

does anyone out there need a friend(who has facebook)?

please, i just need a friend, but i dont have myspace , just face book(its better). please, if you want to be my friend, post you face book name and network, or if you dont want to do that, post your email/IM and we can talk sometime!!!

My uncle is about to open me a profile in Myspace, but he hasn’t givin’ me any tips on my profile. I 11yrs old. I know your not allowed to have a Myspace untill your 14. He’s putting my profile in private, but still I don’t know how the Myspace network works or what it’s used for, HELP!!!

So Fox News admits Republican bias now?

I just saw the fox news group on facebook. For those of you that dont know, facebook is a networking site for college students. Their slogan: “Fox News, the network your professors dont want you to watch” WTF?! Is this new? Why in the hell would a news network that constantly screamed “fair and balanced” actually just go all out and admit their bias. But hey, whatever, its not like it was a mystery.
Well I knew there would be at least one jakass that would say “Well you watch CNN, MSNBC duuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrr.” Not that the point there genius, I am well aware of bias, just not the flagrant parading of it.
wow there are alot of dumbass people on here that dont even know how to answer a question
turbo weegie: learn to read, I said I AM AWARE OF BIAS, now run along.

Shiraz: Koolaide????? wow, you are really out there, not in a good way.

I am homeschooled so I don’t have a highschool e-mail address. Is there any way I can register for Facebook?

I was invited by someone in college but I don’t have a college e-mail address either, obviously, so I can’t join that network.
