i have yahoo messenger and AIM and i need help

I can connect to the internet but I can’t connect to certain normal websites like msn.com or use msn messenger
I just moved to Austria and had my new roommate set up a new internet connection for me. Before she did this my computer was perfectly fine when I plugged into her ethernet cable but I couldn’t access the wireless in our apartment. Now that she reconfigured something I have no problem using wireless in my room but my computer will now only go to certain websites. For example I can access yahoo.com and facebook.com but can’t go to msn.com, psecu.com, student.wfu.edu or use my msn messenger. And when I try to go to these sites the computer just sits and thinks like it is in the process of uploading the site but can’t finish. I never get a “can not access this site” notice, it will literally sit and try to upload it forever. Nothing else with my computer appears to be wrong and I have run several virus scans. What should I do?

Has the internet effected young peoples loving reliationships?
Myspace, facebook, MSN messenger, AIM, and so much more. With all of these amenities available, especially to young people, do you think they have effected loving relationships?
can we use messenger services to promote our google adsense site?
does google allow it or will it lead to ban?
what exactly i mean is that can i promote my adsense content enabled site through yahoo or any other messeger? will that site recommendation through messenger(any) lead to ban of my account or is it permissible for me to publicise my website thru chatroom stuff??
