besides monster, career builder, the craigslist. just to name a few.

Where can I recruit top talent for the jobs I’m hiring for? for free?

My company is hiring graphic designers, .net developers, c++ programmers, an office manager, a PR director, and sales people in Nashville, TN. I’ve been using craigslist b’c it’s free but where else can I place the job postings where top talent will see it? Interested? Email star@zoitec.com and I’ll send you the job descriptions.

Part-time job website?

Is there any good part-time job website that has a lot of listiings. I tried snagajob, groovejob and craigslist and could not find a lot of jobs in my area. The ones that I did find I applied to, but it’s been few weeks now and they haven’t responded. I guess that’s their way of telling me to go f*** myself. Seroisly, it’s so tough to find a good part-time job. Any good websites or ideas on how I can find I good parttime job. I just don’t want to sit on my a** all summer and wait for my next semester in college.

Can someone help me?

I am a Certified Medical Assistant. Does anyone know any websites that I can use to look for jobs?

Any healthcareer website that locate jobs by state would be very helpful

Employment in Computer/Internet Work?

I am somewhat puzzled. I am looking for paid employment (not volunteer) in computers or internet work. When I check the newspapers, all the computer jobs listed have technical specifications that I do not have. Many of the job requirements oddly enough are for computer applications that have only been available within the last two years. This makes no sense at all. So there are hundreds of software packages out there and no one can know them all. There is a lot of computer hardware out there also and no one can know it all. So what is going on here? Obviously no one can fill these jobs and that is why they are advertised. The employer really has to come down in their requirements and size up ordinary people for the jobs.

I have a diploma in Computer Information Technology (2o years old) and a certificate in website design four years old but still I am having trouble finding a match to an employer. I am doing something wrong. I tried www.craigslist.org and did better.

Is there any other sites, job boards, like Craigslist where you don’t have to pay a fee and what are they?

Craigslist is a site where you can post jobs, promote your business, get free stuff, etc. It is not limited to just one city or state. You can log into many countries and every state across the country.

Are digital househunting jobs a scam?

I came across an ad on Craigslist for someone looking for people to take pictures of houses – if the pictures fit the criteria of what they are looking for, they’ll pay $10. If they end up buying the house, they’ll pay $500. You are supposed to send pictures of houses that are in nice neighborhoods but the house of interest is vacant, has an overgrown lawn, etc. In other words, someone has let the house fall into disrepair even though the it’s in a nice neighborhood. There are not supposed to be other houses for sale nearby, and from my understanding of the e-mail I received, the house of interest is not supposed to be for sale either. I don’t really get that – seems like they are looking for houses that aren’t for sale but where the owner might be interested in selling if given an offer. I’m wondering if this is a legitimate thing or not – anyone have any knowledge or experience they can offer about this? Thanks!

Are “big” jobsites a waste of time?

On my quest to find a job, I’ve been applying to job ads from smaller sites (like craigslist) to the bigger ones like monster.com, careerbuilder.com. I’m starting to think I’m wasting my time by applying to jobs on these larger sites like monster (I’m an entry-level candidate, May 2006 grad). Now, Monster allows you to see your status. For the last month, for each resume and cover letter I sent these employers, my resume/cv letter was only viewed ONE time (the rest were just ‘received’). It’s annoying to me that I spend my time customizing every cover letter, but they don’t even read it. Should I just focus on the smaller sites and company-specific postings (I mean, on the company websites). I’m starting to feel like I’m wasting my time on these large websites.

Anyone make $$$$$$$ selling cars?

I was laid off and my unemployment is running out…. applied for bunch of jobs but either I’m underqualified or overqualified.

So I was thinking maybe buying cars dirt cheap and reselling at a hefty profit.

The problem is that I’m having a hard time finding any deals. Some dealers here advertise specials like $88 cars but whenever I go there’s always long line of people already waiting.

I’ve been to public auctions but they go for close to retail. Can’t go to dealer only auctions because I don’t have a license.

Have checked Craigslist, Pennysaver, Autotrader, Cars and others but none that I can resell for any worthwhile profit.

So where do you find the dirt cheap cars for resale?

And how many cars can I sell in CA without being categorized as a “dealer”?
