It seems like no one wants to buy it from Craigslist. If you put it up for free, someone will take it, but this is nice furniture. Anyone with any ideas. Consignment shops are picky and a pain in the butt. Classified ads do not seem wo work. Help!

Apartment furnishing options?
In a few weeks I’ll be moving for a job that will keep me in the same city for about 1-2 years. Once I find an apartment I’ll have to furnish it; since I’ll be moving again within a few years would it make more sense to rent than to buy furnishings? Should I just browse through Craigslist for a few days to find cheaper furniture? I was wondering what other options are out there…what it comes down to is that I don’t want to have a ton of furniture to move every time I start a new contract.

Cheapest way of moving furniture within the city?
Everytime we have to buy something from craigslist from somewhere nearby, we end up spending $50 for a u-Haul !
Is there a cheaper way ?
I do not have friends with pickup trucks!

Moving to LA, pack up or start fresh?
I am moving to Los Angeles from New Hampshire in a few months. As you can imagine, thats quite a move, and I’m debating on whether I should take my furniture with me (couches, 46″ television, bed, appliances, etc) or sell everything and just start out fresh buy scouring craigslist for free or cheap stuff. Another idea is putting everything in storage. Any and all insight is appreciated.

Hey, I wanted to start a side job from home, but i am a little caution of the business any suggestions?
I found the job on Craigslist. It is a bookeeping job . I am to process payments for a furniture company in Canada. The company will sent the checks ( payments) to my house. I am to cash the checks at my bank and then wire the money back. They are offering a nice piece of change for your time and work, but something just sounds fishy, I have never met them, they do not know what I look like or anything. But they are willing to send 2000.00 to me for me to process. I just wanna do it for about two months. I was just wondering if this sounds fishy to anyone else. Should I do it? I know Craigslist said to be aware of jobs that ask you to send or receive wire transfer Would anybody else do the job?
Need USED office furniture – where can I look?
We’re moving into a new office in Nashville, TN and I need to find either LOCAL places where I can buy sets of office furniture or somewhere online (other than Craigslist or Ebay) where i can order big sets. I needs desks, chairs, tables, and lamps (no cubes). Any help would be great!
