Why is it so hard to find a decent job?????

I’ve been looking for a office postion in the NJ/NYC area and it seems like nothing has come up lately. I’ve been looking for a month now, and the only jobs offered are temp jobs. I have nothing against temps, but I need stability. I’m experienced in all office aspects (clerical/data entry/receptionist{my current position}/secretary). You would think with all this experience something would come along but nothing. Anyone have any ideas on how I should go about finding a decent jobs??? I’ve posted my resume everywhere Monster.com/hotjobs.com/nj.com/craigslist.com. Can someone please help me and give me some advice……I have the skills and experience so what’s going on. I refuse to go and work in the mall, when I know I have so much more to offer.

Anybody here know anyone who has/or met someone off of Craigslist casual encounters themselves?

how was the experience?

how do i get a job with no experience?

hello,

I just got my BA, majoring computer Information technology (software administrator). I didn’t have a professional working experience or had never worked internship while I was in school. It has been only four weeks since I had graduated. However, while I was looking for a job on the internet, most companies ask for experience of at least a year or two. I am in fear of not finding me a job in the future. My question is — Are there any options to look for a job other than monstertrak.com, dice.com, and craigslist.org? Or do I need to lie on my resume saying that I had worked as an intern even if I didn’t? Please help!!

Best regards,
beniyamhabt

Where can my skills take me?

I am very good in all Microsoft Programs and am good with computers. I would like to have a stay at home job (im still in school) like making Excell documents on companies investments and presentations for that company. How can i find companies, or small businesses, or even people who would want me to do that. I only have personal experience.

By The Way, do not mention Craigslist (im doing that already)

Google also placed a colorless white logo on Google Poland and then Google China as a sign of mourning. That was this week at the Search Engine Roundtable.
