I have a service that would fit yahoo’s search engine perfectly that has a huge potential target. It would compete with monster.com, craigslist.com, myspace.com, and ebay. Project has been in the works for over 6 months. Foundation has been laid but lacking funding.
Thinking about trying to sell some things but not sure if I should go a different route or not. Would Ebay be better or is there other sites similar to Craigslist?
I’ve gone through all of my possible resources. I need to know the most I can possibly get….I’ve tried KBB, but I get different estimates. I’ve listed my SUV in the paper, Ebay, craigslist, EVERYTHING…and nothing. It’s a 98 Ford Explorer with 87K miles, a V8 engine, keyless entry, AM/FM/CD, tan leather interior, new Polk speakers and new Pioneer stereo w/XM radio.
I’m looking for interesting websites, just something that is entertaining or informative in some way. If you’re going to name one, please don’t include myspace, ebay, anything on google, craigslist, or yahoo.

I live in San Francisco, and the SF section of Craigslist is pretty big, but I’m scared of selling it for less then its worth? At least with Ebay it goes to the highest bidder?
Its going to be priced around $28K. I sold my truck on CL for around $12K, but the higher price is also a concern to me.

Do you guys have any sites with eBay videos or seminars for free? Also, anything with AdSense? I would like to have videos for the two but I can’t seem to find any. ARE THERE ANY BOOKS/VIDEOS THAT HAVE HELPED YOU MAKE A LIVING ON EBAY THAT YOU RECOMMEND?
How many people here make a living off of eBay alone?
I am pretty experienced with eBay. My items usually sell. I just want to know how to find like the HOT items and how to make a couple of hundred dollars instead of just 30.

2 friends each have engagement rings appraised at $4,500+. the original jewelers are offering like $400. wtf. anyway, i know about ebay and craigslist and newspaper ads – but are there any other options available? they want to get more return from the original purchase price. say, $1k. thanks!!
