I looking to start a user driven web site (think facebook/myspace). How do I pick a host and server company?
Like other user driven sites, there is the potential for hundreds of thousands of pages with gazillion posts, blogs, photos, and videos. A friend will design the site, but I need to know about web hosting and servers. Should I buy servers or rent? How much do they cost, either way? What other issues, as a computer novice with a good idea, do I need to know about? Please help, any advice would be appreciated?

Overseas companies asking for banks to funnel money through? Real or trouble?
I appiled to a job from craigslist and received an email “opportunity”. Supposedly the company is affiliated with Visa and needs US bank accounts (they are based in the UK) to funnel money through. You get $140 for every transfer you make. They suggest you open a new checking account with a zero balance to use for this purpose. They assure you that this is 100% legal and that they work with the FBI and Interpol.
The only info they ask of you is for your name, address, birthdate and a copy of your driver license (no social security number) and the bank account info you want to use.

What’s the demand for a top notch business plan writer?
I would like to attract clients to hire me to write their business plans. Is there a market for business plan writers? I have owned and sold 6 companies (for nice profits) and have attracted investors to each company via my business plans. I have also had several companies who had seen my work hire me to write their plans. My biggest client was Sun Micro. One of the plans I generated was 78 pages! I would like to write business plans for more companies and am truly one of the best plan writers out there. How would I go about finding people that need business plans written? Should I advertise on Craigslist or have a website developed with a list of my services? I am also a marketing wiz when it comes to putting new companies on the map. Live in CA, incorporate in Nevada, income from internet – do I need to register in CA?
Hi, I am considering to register a c-corporation in Nevada. Most of the income is from internet (google adsense, affiliate commissions). I am living in CA. I understand that if the company is doing business in another state than NV, another registration is required. But for my case, do I still need to register in CA?
Is This A Scam??? If so what are they about to do?
I placed our old car on Craigslist.org to sell it and we have a person that wants to buy it. However he has not seen the car. He said that he is going to send payment in the mail-howvever it will be an overpayment. The difference in amounts he would like for us to give to the shipping company that is coming to pick the car up for him. We asked him tpo pay by money order, the name of the shipping company and person coming to pick the car up,a copy of his state ID to be included with the money order, and a tracking number for the payment once he mails it.
It just sounds really fishy to me and liek a scam-has anyone else experienced this? Please advise.

yahoo vs google adsense?
Who pays you a better percentage? I have heard reports that google pay around 80%, but there is no real proof of this, and that this could be just for their larger companies. Also the percentage that they pay fluctuates….How can a company not give you a fixed percentage?. Surely then they take a better cut for the big paying ads…. anyway does anyone know about yahoo adsense? do they pay a fixed percent? thanks to any responders.
