My college roommate and I are desperate to get our hands on an xbox 360 (hehe), though, being college students, we have no money:( We are jobless, and too busy to get one, though we do have a few afternoons that we can spare for the sake of getting some money. My roommate thought about scanning craigslist from things people are giving away, renting a u-haul, and selling everything on campus (or somewhere else). Can anyone think of any other ways to earn some money (legal, obviously:))? We have a car, internet connection, and a weekend (plus afterschool time) to accomplish this goal. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Ok, perhaps the context of why we need the money detracts from the dignity of the question, but can people just give their ideas about quick(ish), legal ways to earn money? Think of it as a creative way to spend an afternoon as under-grad entrepreneurs. However you view it, sarcastic comments (however true) are not what I was looking for.

I just saw the fox news group on facebook. For those of you that dont know, facebook is a networking site for college students. Their slogan: “Fox News, the network your professors dont want you to watch” WTF?! Is this new? Why in the hell would a news network that constantly screamed “fair and balanced” actually just go all out and admit their bias. But hey, whatever, its not like it was a mystery.
Well I knew there would be at least one jakass that would say “Well you watch CNN, MSNBC duuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrr.” Not that the point there genius, I am well aware of bias, just not the flagrant parading of it.
wow there are alot of dumbass people on here that dont even know how to answer a question
turbo weegie: learn to read, I said I AM AWARE OF BIAS, now run along.
Shiraz: Koolaide????? wow, you are really out there, not in a good way.

Now they tell us that Facebook is going to try and open up to everybody. It used to be that just College students could use the network, then they allowed high schooler, then businesses and corporations. Are they trying to lose the very people who made Facebook so popular in the first place? I think this is horrible timing, considering they just saw a massive protest against the creepy stalker-esque “mini-feed” update they did earlier this month.
Keep Facebook for College students.
The creators of Facebook are considering opening Facebook to all, by allowing people to register in their regions. It was an exclusive site open only to college students and faculty. They’ve already opened it to high school students and companies, which I think is too far.
I’m not asking whether or not it should be open to all colleges, because it should. I’m asking whether it should be open to the general population.

In April 2006, facebook added employees of a ten companies plus Teach For America. I’m curious to know what motivated this decision and how they chose the companies which range from PepsiCo to Amazon.com.
what is the website similiar to myspace specifically for college students to stay in contact with friends?
We’re a couple of students looking for affordable housing within the city of San Francisco. Craigslist.org is great, but we haven’t found much. I’m just looking for other sites that are easy to use and may apply to our demographic (poor, strange college students/artists).
