What do you think about people who have children and ask for hand outs?

I was looking on craigslist in my city and there were MANY postings from mothers who wanted free stuff.

One wrote that she stayed home with her child and her husband didn’t make a lot of money a month and how she didn’t qualify for any assistance.

So she was asking for free clothes, formula, diapers, and other things.

Seriously, if people cannot afford to FEED their child, why are they having them in the first place?

And if these people are so poor then they DO qualify for assistance such as WIC.

And I think she could find a job and help support her child if she needed to. She could find someone to watch her child for a small fee. Yeah she may not be with her kid 24/7 but at least he would have FOOD to eat!!

I know sometimes people are down on the luck, but this is bad parenting.

What is wrong with people??? I find it rude to ask other people to pay your unplanned pregnancy, how irresponsible!

Looking for English Language Expat info in Tokyo, Japan?

I recently relocated to Tokyo, Japan from New York city and I have
been trying to find English language web resources similar to what I used on a regular basis in New York. I often used craigslist to find activities and for online dating in New York and haven’t been able to find a similar English language site with a large user base in Tokyo. I’ve found sites but they have very small user bases. What I am looking for is where on the web I can connect with the English speaking expat community to meet people, find dates, find a sports team/league similar to www.zogsports.com, find a running group similar to New York Road Runners http://www.nyrrc.org/ and where I can find
classified ads for things like buying a used bicycle.

Any cheaper ideas for renting a car one way from a major city to another major city without the fees?

I am trying to plan a roadtrip that lasts 2-3 weeks. I want to get from the DC area to Chicago. We need a little more freedom than public transit give us, yet there are many hundred dollar fees to return a rental car from that far away. Craigslist can be too unreliable for me because we are trying to visit family that lives in random places that people may not go to often, and I’d perfer to be able to drive a vehicle. Any suggestions that are reasonable would be apreciated. Remember that I am flying to and from each location in the response.

Well for some reason my 2009 has continued to not be the best of years. Well at least not the best start. But i promise you that it wont get me down. Im gonna keep trying to find the Silver LINING in this nonsense..lol This is kind of like part 2…of the on going SAGA of my crappy 2009 so far. Part 3 of this will be soon. Craigslist is a site where you can post jobs, promote your business, get free stuff, etc. It is not limited to just one city or state. You can log into many countries and every state across the country.

I own a used car dealership. It’s located off of a major heavily traveled road in a capital city- but you have to turn onto a street to be able to see it, and the county doesn’t allow signs out by the major highway. What can I do to bring more customers over besides word of mouth, the local newspaper, craigslist, and even on foot handing flyers out in busy shopping centers. Please help! Thanks :}
