I need a job. Anyone have any leads for a smart woman in Central Orange County Calif?

I have just recieved my Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved school, I have my Bachelor’s degree in Business. I have owned and worked in my own business for the past 25 years. Now I am looking for a total career change and REALLY need a job. If anyone has any true job leads please let me know. I want to stay in central Orange County California. I know I need training and I’m willing to start at a lower pay scale but I do need benefits. I’m very motivated to learn and would like to think I’m a quick study. I’ve posted my resume on craigslist and monster with no results. In fact I’ve had very little results to most of the ads that I have responded to. This is not a fake solicitation for help. Thanks for taking the time to read this and if you can help thanks for that!

I need to advertise my business in free and low-cost newspapers and websites. The ads must be free or cheap..

I’d like to create a list that contains the contact information and website addresses for each newspaper or website. Examples are http:/www.recycler.com (free private ads in a newspaper & online), http://www.craigslist.com (free ads on the internet). http://www.thriftynickel.com (print & online classified newspaper), I found a list of newspapers where people can place free ads at http://myarchive.8m.com/freenewspaperads.html .

Any Suggestions?

I have around 200 dollars a month to invest on advertising online. I have tried pay per click methods and adsense. Not much results. What would someone else suggest that i invest in. I am promoting a work at home business that is building strongely but looking to set it over the top.

I need help on how to motivate myself to promote my business as a independent dance instructor?

It is so hard for me to do. I am an independent dance teacher. I have several ads on Craigslist which I enjoy writing, but everything else like posting flyers at community boards, on door knobs or cars or handing them out in the financial district or at clubs; going to wedding event/fairs to network, putting a table at clubs to get people to sign up with their email (for a free pair of dance shoes or free lessons) or handing out business cards at social events are all good ways to market. But, I am having a hard time motivating myself to go out there and do it so to drum up business, How should I motivate myself to promote myself as a dance teacher to gain more clients for my business. Some good advice is welcomed and needed.

Amazon Exclusive: Q&A with Author Joel Comm

What is your experience with running online businesses?
I built my first website in 1995. WorldVillage.com was one of the first 25,000 sites in the world! Over the years, I have built dozens of sites, many of which I still own to this day. From editorial to advertising and marketing to social media, I’ve done it all.

Who is the audience for this book?
With the current state of our economy, there are millions of people looking for ways to supplement their income. While many people tout possibilities for making thousands or millions of dollars online, I believe many would be thrilled to have an extra 00 or so each month. KaChing presents the Internet business opportunity in a way that is both fresh and attainable to those who seek to take control of their financial situation and future.

What is the most important thing you would tell someone looking to start an online business?
Don’t go looking for the next “hot” trend. Instead, figure out how your own personal passions, knowledge and skills can be leveraged to create an online business. Many make the mistake of looking outwards for success when the most reliable barometer really comes from within.

What are the most common mistakes you see people make when running an online business?
They try to do too much on their own. The key is to align yourself with others whose talents and gifts complement yours. I can’t design or code my way out of a paper bag, so I don’t even try. Instead, I partner with or outsource to others who are able to accomplish the tasks far better than I could ever hope to. That frees me up to focus on doing what I do best. This will be different for each person.

How did you come up with the title KaChing?
Everyone can relate to the ringing cash register sound of a sale being made. Once you understand how to leverage your own interests to build an online business, you can begin to envision the reality of generating a substantial income on the Internet. It’s a pleasing sound that makes people smile. And when you get to push that KaChing Button for the first time, signifying your first dollar online, it is very empowering.

If I presented my website through a business plan to Angel Investors, do I have to patent my idea beforehand?

A few of my friends and I are in the works for a social networking website like facebook.com that is geaerd towards a small local crowd. However, we have created a unique and effective method of advertising and find our system to be unique.

As we will be looking for Angel Investors, we will propose and reveal our entire site in a business proposal and was wondering what is the right process of doing this?

Should I be patenting this idea before I let the word out on everything? How much does patenting cost, and what is the turnaround for approval?

I find that we are tight on money. As we have already invested in a high grade server for our business, we may not even be able to get a patent done if the process is to costly. However, is this a necessary step or simply a recomended step?

Any links, suggestions, or feedback is extremely appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Danny

Great Canvas Site, How do I advertise it?

That’s right. I’m helping a friend advertise http://www.art-hammer.com. They sell beautiful canvas that you can put in your house or business. I tried adsense, but I want more exposure. Are there good websites to advertise it on? Sites that are relevant and people would go to art-hammer. Any other places? I tried overture but that was not that good.
