I have been out of high school for a few years (since ’03 actually), and sometimes I just sit and reminisce about the old days. I was a majorette in marching band and attended avg sized school (1300ish), but everyone knew/loved each other–which made it so much better. I check up on friends that have moved away for school through facebook, while I’m reading through their emails/ pictures I feel so great but sad. Everyone has these great lives ahead of them and we will always remember the times we had when we were young, no matter how old we may get.. gray hair we may grow.. or kids we may pop out.
Do you have negative or positive feelings about your high school days/friends?
Besides walking Sixth Street, what are some Halloween events for adults held on and around October 31st in Austin, Texas? Are there any dances, balls, benefits, etc?? I’ve been scouring the Chronicle, austin360, craigslist… I can’t seem to find anything. And I’m not interested in going to hear some band play. Any excuse to wear my costume!

if you have an interest in Punk rock, you should check out this band called Dreaded Solution. They are a currently “unknown” trio from California who are looking for a little bit of exposure to their music. I’m not in the band at all, so don’t even think about that.
