Day 5

On day 5 we will not spend any money! Now that the website is ready and uploaded, we need to get it into the search engines. You do not need to pay anything. The search engines go out on their own and search for new websites. However, without “directions” they will never find your website. In order to post directions we need to post links to our new website on other websites that are already in the search engines. And this is the easiest thing in the world. This is all FREE and only takes your time to do it.

Have you heard of social bookmarking? No? How about digg, stumpleupon, propeller, and so on? Those are social bookmarking wesbites. You sign up for a free account with them which is a painless short form to fill out. Then you can bookmark websites. You submit websites to them and they will post them on their websites. It’s all instant. Below this very post you can find a lot of little icons. Those are links to bookmarking websites. Just use those, click on them, bookmark this web page and then add your own web sites to it. Those are NOT referral links and I do not get a single penny for sending you there. Just so you know.

A word of caution! There is such a thing a bookmark spam. Some websites do not even want you to bookmark your own website. So use an email address that is not related to your website domain name. If your website has 100 pages, do not bookmark every single one of them! You can bookmark a few, but never ever too many. Also do not bookmark too many pages on the same day with the same bookmark service. Keep it simple and natural. Sign up for all bookmark websites and submit 1 page to them. That should take some time and you don’t even want to do more work a day than that.

Remember, this is not a get rich quick scheme. It will take some time. Once you start bookmarking your website on different bookmark sites, it will only take a day or two before google finds your website. From there, many other search engines will get it from google. Keep bookmarking even after google has found your website! Every bookmark is a link to your site. The more link you have to your site, the better.

So go now, sign up and bookmark. It only takes your time, no money! How nice is that?

Day 4

Today we will possibly spend some money. From yesterday we have a website that is ready to be put on the web. So, first we need a domain name. If you already have one and want to use that, go ahead and do so. If you need a new one, try to find a domain name that has your main keyword in it. So for example, if your website it about “diet” you will not find diet.com available. But instead try domains like bestdiettips.com or mydietresources.com You get the idea? Good. A word of caution, do NOT register your domain with godaddy! The company is run by a religious fanatic and they are known to hijack their customers domains and ask you for $100 to be allowed to take back control. Search google if you don’t believe me.

You can register domains at DomainFever.com. This is not an affiliate link. I am not making any money sending you there.

Now that you have a domain name, you need web hosting. DomainFever does offer web hosting, but you can get a better deal at PepServer.com. If you prefer to have domain name and hosting with the same company, you can get the domain name a bit cheaper from pepserver.com but you have to ask them to register it. It’s not fully automated yet.

Now that you have your domain name and hosting account, go ahead and build your website. Then upload the website to your hosting account.

Day 3

I learned that with HyperVRE you can make really cool websites. We don’t have to worry about what to put on the website cause that’s what we got HyperVRE for, right? What we do have to decide though is what topic. Now this can be anything you want. To make things easier I am going to use a re-made template. You can use any of the included templates or purchase some elsewhere. Again, this is optional. Pennymaster.com has template collections as well as individual templates.

For the website content we need articles. The free way is to use HyperVRE to find free articles for us. You can also go to google.com and search for “article directory” which will give you tons of websites that have free articles for all kinds of topics. It is important that you keep the author info below the articles. If you do that, the articles are yours to use on your website for free. You like free? You can also write your own articles or buy article packs. Here is an optional, but very valuable 15,000 PLR article pack. With this pack, you never run out of articles.

Another way of getting content are RSS feeds. They can be found for free on websites that collect RSS feeds. Search google for RSS feeds. Not giving examples, will make you find your own and have different ones than someone else doing it. So this is totally free.

Keywords are also provided by the program or type in your own.

You can play around with definitions. You can insert tips and tricks related to your topic. This will make your website even more unique. I have not used this feature for this project, but using it will make a better website.

How do we make money with the site? This is easy too! AdSense, ClickBank, Amazon, PayDotCom. Sign up for those if you don’t have an account yet. You can also add other Affiliate links manually or your own products.

You can do todays work without spending another dollar.

Day 2

Day 2 was over and I had nothing to show for. I first thought I had wasted the whole day, but I really didn’t. What I did on day 2 was to play around with the <a href=””http://usbappz.com/links/hypervrefreesoftware.php”” target=””_blank””>HyperVRE software</a>. You can do this with the free version or with the gold version. It does not matter what keywords you use when you play around. You don’t need to upload anything, and you don’t need to find lots of articles either. Just build several websites to get used to the software and know how every part of it works. I’ll help you on this one, choose any template and build some sites for the fololowing keywords: fishing, marketing, yoga, gardening. If you still don’t feel like you know everything about HyperVRE, then keep building websites untill you can almost do it in your head without using the software.

So on day 2 we did not spend a single penny. We’re still at our $100 initial cost for the gold edition. Tomorrow we will actually start planning our first money making website.

Day 1

On day one I spent $100 and got the Gold Edition of HyperVRE. This will be the biggest expense. Also, this is a one-time cost. It’s not a monthly subscription. I expect to spend less than $50 more. Download and watch all the videos and read through the manual. Don’t worry about remembering much now. Just get the big picture to know what HyperVRE is all about. This took me several hours. I didn’t count how much coffee I had :) I did not do anything as far as starting an actual project is concerned. I’ll talk about that on day 2. As exciting as new things are, make sure not to overdue things. Anything gets very boring or very frustrating if rushed through.

As I go along, I do expect you to actually do the work too. I will not create a step-by-step plan nor will I create a support document for HyperVRE. Matt Callen has done an excellent job of providing documentation for his software. You should be able to understand everything by watching the videos and reading the pdf manuals. There’s no need to re-do that. What I will do is guiding you and showing you my progress as I follow the HyperVRE documentation. So please read the manual and watch the videos. You will not be able to do anything by just reading my progress report. Your success may also vary from mine.

I am trying to find some structure in this, so I will summarize things at the end of every post.

My own case study

If you read yesterday’s post about hypervre you probably downloaded the hypervre software and the free ebook. And you might have read through the ebook and wondered if anyone could really make that much money with this software. I never trust those so-called “case studies” and often times fake testimonials. One thing I found out after buying many ebooks on how to make money is this: The ebook has a great idea, but when it comes down to really making money with it, you either need to buy even more software or ebooks or you need to have a huge mailing list to sell something to.

I believe this hypervre is different. So I have decided to give it a try and post my daily progress on here. I will keep track of mow much money I spend on this whole project and how much time it takes me. I will also try to pretend that this is my first and only online business. I plan on setting up 2 or 3 websites with this and then promote them.

Go ahead and download the free software and get the free ebook today! Then read the ebook and see if that is something you might be interested in. But best of all, I will guide you through success for free! Just follow my progress and copy it step by step.
