You can definitely get car safety belts/harnesses for small dogs. My dog has one because he goes almost everywhere with me. I think it’s even more dangerous for small dogs in the car because during a crash, they will be thrown around. If a serious enough crash happens and emergency workers need to get you or Jonathan out, it’s important that the pups are safe & secure and not running around on the road.

you can get the car seat belt clip on ebay super cheap. its just like a lead clip that clips onto the harness and the other side buckles into the car. its so important if they r in the back incase u have an accident u dnt want the puppies flying out the front windscreen!

My tiny chihuahua has a car seat harness. it just clips into the normal car seat buckel thingyo lol. it’s by masterpet.

Anna I have miniature dogs and I got them the “Trixie” car harnesses with seat belts for their size. I’m sure you can find the smallest size if you shop online.
