I like this girl that goes to my school. I logged on to a site called facebook and a message popped up saying she was single. I never asked her out because she was dating someone, but should I ask her out, or wait? I’m just afraid of being a rebound date and messing things up with this girl, but I don’t want someone else to ask her first. How can I make money on a website other then adsense?

I would like to start a website promoting local bars and taverns in the area. Once I get things up and running I would ask for “donations” from the tavern owners but how else can I make things profitable for myself. Also how can I convince bar owners my site is something they should “believe in” to get business.

Best place to buy Italian steel frame?

I got out of racing 15 years ago, and want to start recreational riding again with one of the classic steel frames I used to lust after. The new carbon stuff just doesn’t interest me. I don’t want true retro, but something like a 10-year old Merckx or Pinarello, something from the final years when everyone was still riding steel. Nothing but crap on eBay and craigslist. So where to go???

Isn’t the basis of those sites not to ask for money from the users? If so, why would the companies seek to buy the sites but expect to maintain the free usage that attracted useres in the first place.

If and when they start asking people for money for monthly use, wouldnt users just turn to another free site?

Seems like a lose lose situation to me.

Idk, what economical explaination is there for this.
