@thebmfs Honest to God, how can anybody “dislike” this? Being in rescue myself, and having adopted a little Maltie like this 10 years ago (equally scared) who became the doggie love of my life (we lost her last year) I rejoice and every rescue, and share each of these videos.

She’s precious. I wish people would stop breeding their pets.!

About 3,000 people are interested in adopting a dog which became a ‘celebrity’ after surviving being put to sleep.
Ironically, the dog was being put to sleep due to overcrowding because of too many dogs and not enough people wanting to adopt.
3,000 dickheads.

Gimme five minutes alone with the punk who hurt this dog. They’ll be the one defecating in terror when I’m done.

I work with Bichon FurKids rescue… and we’ve rescued a few from Lancaster too. Almost all the scared ones react like that try to snap. However, with some patience, gentle love, the dogs usually come around. I’m so happy you were able to capture such a beautiful process to educate everyone out there, that usually they get “aggressive” when they’re so terrified.

You are so special with dogs. What is your secret?

Because of your videos you have personally made me 1) Only ever get rescue dogs. 2) go to volunteer at a shelter for at least 3 years. (3) Look beyond the scruffieness
(4) Will be donating a huge amount to shelters. You have changed my life for the better I think
Thanks man.

If we went through HALF the horrible things a lot of dogs go through, we would be just as scared and defensive. I volunteer at a shelter and you would be surprised at how much just a little bit of patience and love can get you! I practice that with my own dogs every day and you know what, they are amazing! People like this restore my faith in humanity!
