Does anybody think some people are Freecycle addicts?
I just had this thought because whenever i put something on freecycle, i always get the same people Emailing me no matter what i post on there. I dont post much anymore since i discovered i can sell things through Craigslist to get rid of things.
My landlord raised our rent when we had a new roommate take over our prior roommate’s room… is this legal?
We have been at our San Francisco 3br apartment since July. Our roommate had to move out, so we found a new roommate from craigslist with great credit history and everything. After he signed all the paperwork our landlord sent us a letter saying he is raising the rent by $100 a month because the lease has changed with the new roommate being on there. I’ve never heard of a landlord doing this. I feel like he may be doing this illegally because we signed a lease for a specific amount, and it doesn’t seem like it should matter who we fill the room with as long as his credit history is fine and he can pay rent. Please let me know if you have knowledge of CA rental laws.

It’s illegal to sell whitetail deer meat in Texas, but can I trade it?
Someone gave my family 4 pounds of frozen, pre-packaged ground whitetail deer meat. It is from some Texas “hunters for the hungry” type association and labeled “not for sale”.
We do not eat deer and will not use it, but the giver was going to throw it away so we took it anyway. I’ve read that you cannot sell it in Texas.
We are in need of other food items though right now, and I want to know if I would get in trouble posting on my local Craigslist that I want to TRADE this meat for other food (like chicken or milk or whatever). Anyone know if I can do this?
If all else fails we’ll give it away, but with money tight at the end of the month if I could trade it for some chicken, peanut butter, and milk it would be a win-win situation.

Is there a place where I can sell used Monte Carlo SS Parts fast???
I have to move by december 1. I live on Long Island, the South Shore. I have hundreds of Monte Carlo used parts and need to sell them fast. Anyone know of a place to sell them, someone who needs them, or a place online to sell them? eBay and Craigslist are not working for me. I need another avenue, preferable in the Long Island area. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

Maternity Clothes – why can’t sell?
Can you please share you experiences in selling used (gently used) maternity clothes. I tried ebay and craigslist, no luck. I tried with my babystyle maternity shirt, didn’t even put a starting price, asked to make an offer. Why is it hard to sell maternity clothes? I went to used kids store (they also sell maternity stuff), they said lots of people want to sell and not a lot of people want to buy.
Please share you stories, experiences, and advice.
