I thought that since craigslist is for local things, I could put out a plea. Got flagged and that is just a mess. Anyway, can someone tell me how to find out about services in my area easily?

I was wondering how one responds to an ad on craigslist.?
I use a library computer so when I click the italic to respond it won’t let me do it. Is there another way?
Neither answer is working, I tried that cut and paste method from where the numbers
begin. Can someone give me a solution. I really need to respond to some ads.

Does this sound like it could be a scam?
I recently saw a post on my local craigslist put there by a guy whose phone # is somwhere else. He says his name is Daniel, and has a PhD after his name. He claims to have obtained 20 laptops (alienware) at wholesale, and needs help selling them on eBay from people who have a high satisfaction rating. His post links to a geocities site where he explains that he will pay 30% commission on each laptop sold at a “buy it now” price of $2,000, with sellers being responsible only for the eBay listing fees. He instructs the reader to view his sample eBay listing, create one of their own just like it using the person’s own eBay account, and then call him with the item number of the listing. Then he says once a purchase it made, the funds should go striaght to your own PayPal account, he will ship same day, and you are then to just send him his 70%. It sounds both safe and fishy at the same time, but I’m not savvy enough to figure it out.

Are “big” jobsites a waste of time?
On my quest to find a job, I’ve been applying to job ads from smaller sites (like craigslist) to the bigger ones like monster.com, careerbuilder.com. I’m starting to think I’m wasting my time by applying to jobs on these larger sites like monster (I’m an entry-level candidate, May 2006 grad). Now, Monster allows you to see your status. For the last month, for each resume and cover letter I sent these employers, my resume/cv letter was only viewed ONE time (the rest were just ‘received’). It’s annoying to me that I spend my time customizing every cover letter, but they don’t even read it. Should I just focus on the smaller sites and company-specific postings (I mean, on the company websites). I’m starting to feel like I’m wasting my time on these large websites.

I am babysitting a cat, and she wont come from underneath my bed.?
I responded to an ad on Craigslist to care for a cat, she came yesterday,I guess shes 8 years old female, she was at another babysitters house and they were cruel to her, so she is scared I know, she has been under my bed since yesterday, I try and talk to her and pet her but shes so scared, any suggestions? I have a 2 year old cat and a 2 month old kitten here as well they are my own.
I DID put some food and water under the bed as well, I tried her treats and toys but she aint having it!
