OK. . .here are some options:
- Yoshi’s in Oakland. Yes, Oakland! It is only across the bridge and it is one of the best venues for jazz music in the Bay Area. The retuarant serves good sushi. Check out their website.
- Biscuit and Blues – This is near Union Square in San Francisco. They have shows, usually, nightly. The food is just OK in my opinion.
- Shanghi 1930 – This is not a “jazz club” but some place you can have a great meal and listen to live music on Thursday and Friday nights.
- Jazz on Pearl – I have not been here in a long time but it was one of my favorite places to go in the “City”.
Let me know if you choose any of these places.
Good luck!
