I have created a league (www.freewebs.com/ablaboy1), but I cannot find anybody to join. I also posted it it on www.craigslist.org, but I have yet to receive a reply.

If you want to start a real Chess League you need to get in touch with the United States Chess Federation or FIDE Chess the international federation! Federations establish ratings and that is what leagues are about!
