I have a family of 5 (my husband & I along with our three small boys; ages 6-9) I am looking for a 3 bedroom apartment/duplex/house for rent in New Providence, NJ for no more than $1800 and preferably with as much utilities paid for as possible. My family and I are looking to move in by November. I don’t want to have to pay for a realtor fee because a month’s rent is alot. I’ve already tried all the papers (local and otherwise). I’ve tried Craigslist.org, forrent.com, rent.com, homes.com, the apartment complexes (but they only have 2 bedroom apt and they won’t rent to me because by law there is a max. of 2 person per bedrm for apt complexes, not so for homeowners). I’ve even tried walking around the neighborhood looking for “for rent” signs. Please, help. I miss my family overseas. Even if you know of someone that is willing to rent a 2 big bedroom house, that’s fine too. Thank you.
Please, read the whole thing before answering. I have already tried those things. I just didn’t want to have to pay a realtor like I am having to do now.

I doubt you’ll find anything right in New Providence…check out the apartments in Chatham and some in Summit….they’re a bit more reasonable.The apartments in “Chatham Village” (I believe it’s called) run about 1200 for 2 bedrooms…you should check it out….they’re right on Southern Blvd. Also, check out the apartments across from the Kings supermarket in Summit…they’re pretty reasonable too….can I get a best answer?!

Try looking on Craigslist.org and click on the city you want listed on the right side of the page, then go to the rental section.
