There’s this girl I like; she lives on the same floor as me in my dorm. I’ve known her since the start of this school year. We became friends because we both played tennis and racquetball. I started to like her a lot, but I was afraid to ask her out. I did nice things for her, like getting her tennis racquet strung for her and giving her home food that my parents sent me. I felt she wasn’t paying attention to me, so I tried other things like playing pranks on her; that didn’t work. I asked her out to a restaurant, but she denied and said she’d only go if her other friends went also. Then I wrote this message to her on facebook; I wrote the lyrics of a cheesy love song and then asked her if she’d ever heard it before. Then I asked her how things were going. She never responded to that message, and since then I’ve been scared to talk to her; although we say hi every time we see each other. I’m scared to hang out with her after that message; how should I get her to like me again?
