How can I get around a firewall that blocks me from accessing facebook when that word is in the URL?

It blocks most, if not all, proxy sites…what can I use to get around this. Will a different browser work? Or is there a proxy site that can block the actual URL’s keywords from showing even after I click through several links?

  1. a link to the past

You can set up an encrypted connection to a proxy, which then connects unencrypted to the target website (like facebook). There are programs that help you do this. Most are pay-to-use, but there are also some free ones. Google for “anonymous encrypted internet” (without the quotes).
