But I know there is federal money going to the states to continue unemployment while a person gets training. I am in an 18-week program to learn Microsoft Office products and a variety of other programs, but this is California. As I say, it's federal money, but the states make the rules. Still, there's nothing to lose by checking it out. Go to the unemployment office and ask a lot of questions. Since your unemployment has run out, this may not work.
