Do you feel that a person’s documented college antics could be detrimental to their success in later life?

By this, I mean, a girl on Girls Gone Wild, pictures of underage drinking on Facebook, just about anything short of a criminal record. I know that Facebook is something that people need to be careful with now, since employers are scoping out applicants on the site.

yeah, i have heard that employers are now going on to facebook and my space to see what type of person you are. If they see your spring picture of you drinking like crazy and fondaling everyone you meet you will not be getting hired.

  2. Yes, these kind of things almost always come back to haunt you. That’s why it’s good to THINK before DOING.

  3. If you are wondering how much you can get away with, I suggest you think very carefully about the possible consequences before you do anything stupid. If you have already done it and wonder how it will affect your ability to get a job – you might have more trouble getting a job with the employers who come to the campus, but others who don’t have an affiliation with the college will only have your transcript and letters of reference to look at.
