Why is everyone obsessed with MySpace?

For a long time I refused to have a MySpace even though everyone had one. Now everyone really does have one. Why is this?
I do have one now. Mainly out of need to conform

Everyone has myspace because of the wide networking. Me for example I have a myspace and have run into friends I haven’t talked to in years and on top of that I get to meet interesting people from all walks of life. I think its pretty bad-ass!! My suggestion if you don’t have a myspace get one its well worth it.

Its an easy way to see what yoru friends are up to and see their latest pics. it replaces email for a lot of people because everyone can talk together.
