   It is runned by a guy name Craig Newmark in San Francisco and he has it as free service to the community. I love it there was a 60 minute or history channel special on him a while ago.
   I love craigslist. I just bought a table 2 days ago!!

   The owner is Craig Newmark. Ebay also owns a 25% share in the site, but at this point, Craig still owns it.
