What’s a blurb, and what’s difference between a blurb and a blog?

  1. A blurb is a short comment by an expert or another author that is printed on the cover or dust jacket of a book that serves as testimonial as to the quality of the book. Blubs are also used on movie posters; “best movie of the year,” “thumbs up,” etc.
Blog is short for weblog: a web-based journal or diary.
