I use Adsense, YPN, Adbrite and Fastclick, primarily. Adsense works great for some topics, YPN for others. We use Fastclick where we use YPN. What I like about Adsense is, we get direct deposit of our earnings, EFT, and that makes it easy to get paid. You have to test each program, and see what will pay best for your particular keyword topic. Be sure to compare apples to apples. You can not compare a Saturday to a Monday, or the first week of a month to the last week of a month.

Well, the are no best PPC advertising. All of them including Google, Yahoo, Fastclick and Adbrite have their own strength and weekness.
For example:
Yahoo is currently one of the most wanted among all webmasters because they have a very very high payout. Always beign good to publihsers. But, in other hand, their ads are lack of relevancy. Sometimes you might even saw ads that are completely unrelated
As for Google, their have a good relevancy and higher click through rate if compared to any other advertising media. But, sometimes you will receive clicks for 0.03! Even worst, you might get 0.01!
So, to your question, their is no best advertising program
