Myspace recently was sold to the owner of Fox News. I think the price was like $200 million. I’m sure Fox will destroy it before the next election.

They can make a lot of money depending on everything that they have. Both Friendster and Myspace (or any site for that matter) get paid money to display ads from different businesses on there, so just from that they can make a lot of money. Myspace is the third most visited site on the Internet, so they are obviously making a lot from having ads displayed. They even have their own record label now, so that’s even more money. And since they were bought by Fox, they made about $200 million off of that. So if you can think up a great site, you could make some major money!
