how do i get around firewalls to get to myspace.com?

the firewalls at my school do not let me get on to myspace.com and i need to talk to some people so i need to know how to get around the firewalls.

Depending on how good your IT Technician is, you might be able to use a proxy server. The ones I like best are:

http://www.hidemyass.co.uk/
http://www.ieproxy.com/
but these might be blocked by now. These ones aren’t blocked at my local school or library:

There’s a good reason your school is blocking myspace and you may find yourself in REAL trouble if you try getting around your school’s firewall or site-filtering software.
Your school has a lot to lose by letting you access such a potentially dangerous site, and they may be monitoring not just overall network traffic but your own activity as well.
