MySpace, there are a ton more things to do on there.

As far as the target audience.
MySpace 10-18 yr olds with really bad HTML design skills. This website has replaced livejournal as the “thing to do”. Its a trendy thing now. Your not cool unless you have 1000+ friends.
Facebook 18-24 yr olds who are too busy to waste time designing really bad web pages. I think with facebook you have less control over how your profile looks, but the people using it don’t really care because they got better things to do like study …. and drink.

Facebook hands down.
Myspace is an atrocity. The website is horribly designed, its servers break down contstantly, and people’s custom profiles are so cluttered, sloppy and poorly designed that it makes you lose all patience with it. Not to mention each page can sometimes take an eternity to load up due to stupid videos and songs people put on their profile.
Facebook on the other hand is well organized, beautifully designed, and includes great new featurs such as picture tagging, party invites, a “recently updated” friends list and others. Facebook has every cool feature myspace has except the crappy design, annoying songs and videos. Also, its easier to find people because myspace doesnt give you a good way to narrow your search.

myspace. though i hate it when people load their profiles with stupid stuff like videos & songs, quizes and surveys and large pictures that screw up their page, i like being able to customize mine (only with colors, no insane graphics). If someone has a really sloppy page I’m not likely to visit it often. I went to someone’s today and it almost made my computer freeze.
the facebook is boring. you can’t see anyone’s profile unless you’re friends with them. if you can’t see their profile, how do you know if you want to be friends with them? it’s only a place to track your existing friends instead of making new friends.
what if your friends don’t go to college? there are way more people on myspace.
I don’t care that myspace is always down. it’s annoying, but it happens. I’m sure eventually it won’t do that as often.
