Okay, so I have tons of guy friends, many of whom have girlfriends already. Basically, guys and girls look at this kind of thing very differently. It seems that girls are all about posting their love for their significant others where ever the internet allows (facebook, myspace, AIM Profiles, etc.) Guys tend to be more laid back, mostly because a lot of them feel like if they post things about their girlfriends or lovers or whatever, they’re going to be laughed at by their friends for showing any sort of sensitive side. There are some exceptions, and those tend to be in the more serious relationships, those that have been going for a few years or those that are close to the whole crazy marriage things. Plus it seems to also depend on the maturity level of the guy. College guys seem more likely to admitt to such things than high school guys. And Guys out of college or in grad school seem to be even more mature and more capable of showing those kinds of feelings. If that doesn’t help, just ask him about it. If you’re close enough to him to call him your lover, you should most definitely be close enough to him to be able to openly talk about issues like this. Let him explain to you why he doesn’t want to. It may just be that he is uncomfortable. But, on the off chance that he is cheating on you, dump him, because in that case, he is not worth your time.

No. Further evidence would be needed to make that determination. Lighten up, a little.
