   Probably not. Facebook requires a college email address I think. MySpace, well… its a fleshmarket.

   Try Friendster. At least you’ll know how some people are connected to you.

   Myspace is crawling with pedophiles and sex offenders. Beaware of you u are talking to. Only talk to people u know are your friends. I only use it to keep in touch with my friends out of state.

   There is no safe website, there are predators everywhere.

   As long as you are smart about it, give NO personal information (even when asked) you should be o.k.

    They can be safe. They can both be set to private and YOU CHOOSE what kind of information you put on there. If you put tons of info on em, then no, they’re not safe. Be smart and they’re fine. Also, I don’t know how old you are, but I’d wait until you are at least 16 to be on either of them.

    There are over 100,000,000 people signed up if you combine the sites….so, as with anything…it’s safe if used the right ways. It CAN be dangerous if you wander into so trouble.

    The insecurity of any of these site depends mostly on how much disclosure you allow. You have to be mindful of what you are telling and careful who you contact or allow to contact you. Caution will keep you safe.
