What are some google adsense alternatives?

November 21st, 2009

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I need to display ads on my website. However, it is a non-traditional website and the ads displayed for adsense recognize incorrect keywords. I need to find alternatives to google adsense that allows me to specify keywords manually and then displays ads based on that.

Any ideas?

Hello, I dont know about the keyword targeting but I have been using http://www.adclickmedia.com for over 4 months and I like them. Its easy to use and great earnings from ad revenue.

Yes, this can happen with Google AdSense and you’re right that irrelevant ads are likely to be ignored by people you visit your website.

You could sign up with a large ad network like AdBrite (http://www.adbrite.com), which allows you to manually approve/disapprove the banner ads that are shown on your site.

Or, you could sign up with an ad network that’s specific to your type of website. There are literally hundreds of ad networks out there that focus on niches like autos, education, blogs, etc. To get ideas, you can check out the 20 options at http://www.adcherry.com/create/place_ad.php
