Money you would earn depends one how much traffic you mean by "moderate traffic " and also value of domains keyword. For things like web hosting , insurance , business you can earn more than keywords like movies, songs books etc

Unless this is a typo domain ( miss spelled ) its always better developing the domain.

What you make will depend on what words the domain comes up for. So sports, will pay less then, make money online, this has higher competition for these key words. For me parked domains never could make as much as a SEO page done right. I can make up to $3 a click. You will not make that much. You would need 1000 hits a day for $10-15 a day based on bad keywords.
