How much money can I make with Google Adsense?

I know it’s done on a pay-per-click method, how much does is it typically pay per click? Does it vary depending on the advertiser? Also, is there a rule of thumb in terms of how many visitors result in a click?

  1. You can not actually tell how much. There are factors like one you mentioned Advertisers. If ads being displayed are from low paying advertiser, then the amount per click will be less. Amount per click varies based on locale as well. From India, or countries other than US will give you less value per click, while US traffic will give you higher value per click.

How many visitors clicks on your ads depened on how well you place the ads on your website. if it looks like a part of website rather than ads, you will get more clicks. the other thing is traffic, more traffic, more clicks.

    Hope that helps..

  2. Well, of course, a visitor who clicks on an ad from your site to an external site, is a click. But, the money you get from it is precious little. (Go watch!) That's why, there's so much hard core emphasis on trying to get high traffic to your site, to draw more customers in to click away from it!

(Over the course of a year, I got $3.04, but my website is a peeyuunee little ol' doofus website and I'm stoopid about drawing traffic.)

  4. If you have a website + time (to market your site to drive visitors) = $ from google ads will be rolling in… I have crossed the $10 benchmark few months ago when I drive traffic else… it will not be this much.

  5. If you get one visitor who clicks your ads, that’s automatic payment for you providing its not through fraud!!

You can make thousands of dollars a month or a few dollars a month! that’s the reality for many people! Its not what you have got, “AdSense” its what you can do with it!, but it is one, if not thee number one and popular way to generate revenue online!

The more visitors you get to your site or blogs the more chance you have of clicks,

  6. Generally, between 1% and 3% of visitors click on an ad. I have found it to be closer to 1% or so.

I recently started using adsense on a few of my sites. I have a respectably busy site that has made ~$10 over the course of a week. It’s about enough to cover my hosting cost. Unless you have a very very busy site, you won’t be getting rich off of adsense.

I have, however, seen that there can be money. In one instance, I received $2.62 for one click. Generally, most clicks are around $0.02 and $0.1 each.
