Has anyone had any luck with selling jewelry on craigslist?

I have a couple of really nice diamond rings from a previous engagement and I would like to just get rid of them and maybe make some money off of them. Has anyone had good luck with selling your rings on craigslist?? Thanks!

Since they're diamond, agree to meet up in a public place. Given a sour economy, you don't want strangers coming to your house to examine a $1000+ fencing-price item. Never know… might get robbed.
If you price keenly and have an active board, you might have luck, though.

honestly i've never sold anything on craigslist – unless free things count. And an xbox 360. I've posted Avon, electronics, speakers, clothes, jewelery, etc, etc.
