they will contact you saying they want to buy them , and most likely the''l pick them up or you'll meet like at a gas station.

Well many times Craigslist purchases are in person. Ask for cash.
If online only, Paypal works well. Get a free paypal account.

That's completely up to you. You can have them send the money to your Paypal account (recommended), you can have them send or bring you a check or money order (risky), or you can just have them give you cash, if you're meeting to give them the merchandise in person (definitely not recommended.)
